What Are Extreme Fatigue And Pain In Head Post A Head Injury Suggestive Of?
Hi so i basically hit the top of my head under a slide and after i hit it, i felt really tired, dizzy (a little bit), and my vision was blurry for a while. then i was fine for a few hours. (my head hurt in between and i still felt quite tired). and now that its night time im feeling extremely tired and my head hurts, so i really really wanna go to sleep. should i go to sleep or just drink some coffee to keep me up?
Since you had a head injury & are presently feeling dizzy, pain, have blurry vision, you should visit ER urgently. Get clinically assessed before going to sleep. Pain can be due to migraine but sometimes it is also due to serious medical conditions.
Even mild injuries can affect the eye causing visual dysfunctions, severe injuries can cause blindness or double vision. Get physically examined by a GP, get blood & Imaging (X-Ray, CT, MRI) done to detect any pathology. Get treated at the earliest. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
