What Are Frequent Urge To Urinate And Gas Problems Suggestive Of?

I had a colonoscopy today - went well - no problems. At midnight I have the almost continual urge to urinate (I am a male) but I get little or no stream. I started passing gas around 10:00 PM and continue to do so occassionaly. Can gas contribute to my urge to urinate when in fact there is nothing in my bladder to pass? What might my problem be?

however colonoscopy is related to your bowel and gas and bloating is a common complaints and will probably resolve within few days to a week but there should be no problem with urinary tract
However in some cases it is possible that your bladder may be pressurised or prostate gland may become inflamed leading to obstruction in urine flow
or you might have got a urinary tract infection
in both cases you should be examined thoroughly by ur dr

Drink plenty of water with lots of Fresh Fruit juices will help you clear both urinary tract and bowel but if u still experience urgency , frequency and burning urination and it did not resolve in within 1-2 days finally i would strongly suggest you to see Your dr for further evaluation of problem]
