What Are Itchy, Raised, Red, Bleeding Spots On Scrotum Suggestive Of?
I have small red spots on my scrotum. They are slightly raised and have been no problem until the last couple of days when my scrotum started to itch. When pressed, they pop and bleed profusely. A couple have had what seemed to be a small seed-like cyst or lump in them. Do these sound like angiokeratomas?? I have malignant HTN and some other health problems. Thanks!!

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy, raised, red, bleeding spots on scrotum. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction, varicella zoster viral infection , sexually transmitted diseases, psoriasis or dermatitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep the area clean and dry , take over the counter antihistamine like zyrtec. You should avoid touching area repeatedly. You should wear loose cloths and apply over the counter antibiotics ointment and apply cold compresses . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe oral antifungal like fluconazole or anti bacterial depending upon the diagnosis along with corticosteroid ointment .
