What Are Mini Implants Used By Dentists?

I would like to know what are mini implants? I was going to get an upper denture. I had 3 caps on the botton and was being fitted for a partial but had an accident and haven t had it don e. What are they made olf and how long does it take to have it made?

-Traditional implants are bigger in diameter then mini implants
-mini implants are approved by FDA for long term use as bone grow around them very well
-the procedure to place mini implants involves less surgical trauma .
-Mini implants are cost effective ,cheaper then traditional implants.
-They are made up of the same material which is used in traditional implants ,that is titanium alloy.
-Mini implants are stronger then traditional as tehy are one piece solid structure .
-One of teh biggest advantages of mini implants is that they can be inserted in area where bone loss is more ,whic is not the case with traditional ones.

Well as there is less surgical trauma and quick growth of bone around mini implants ,the complete procedure take less time then traditional implants
