What Are Missed Periods, Bloating, Hot And Cold Spells Suggestive Of?

body aches & belly is tight and bloated, missed my period on Dec 28, & have headaches, going from freezing cold to hot spells, exhausted. I would of taken a pregnancy test but I don t carry enough HCG for them to show & to do a blood test is expensive, any ideas?????

Hi,

Your symptoms could be due to pregnancy: if you did sex during fertile phase of period. Hormonal imbalance, ovarian dysfunction, thyroid dysfunction.Pregnancy test will give positive result once your period will delay by more than 7 days. You should go for clinical examination, blood HCG test, thyroid hormone analysis by consulting female primary care physician or gynecologist.

Specific treatment depend on cause. Period can be induced by progesterone pill in absence of pregnancy. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise, maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
