What Are Mucus Filled Vaginal Discharge And Clotting Suggestive Of?

Hello, so about a week ago i had a discharge that was about the size of a 50c coin that was like the mucus plus when having a baby. A couple of days later i had pains slike contractions. Since then i have had clotting and bleeding. I am on the pill but i have missed it a few times and i was still having sex.

Hi,

Your symptoms could be due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, hormonal imbalance. You have missed pill and but sex was done then there may be chance of miscarriage. I would suggest to consult a gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination, reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan to confirm cause.

Specific treatment will depend on cause. Miscarriage may be remove during menstruation, but if retained then D & C is required. Tablet meftals saps for pain. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
