What Are Peeling Skin And Small Cut Below The Clitoris Suggestive Of?
Hi I have been having sex with the same guy for more than six months. I have begin to notice skin peeling from my clitorus and I have a small cut right below my clitorus also. I also have a long cut near my vaginal opening and would like to know what is wrong? I am not feeling any itching or burning.
Cut and abrasions in the clitoris or vagina commonly occur due to foreplay when lubrication is not adequate, rough sex, shaving or hair removal, etc. You are suggested to avoid sex for a couple of days, use lubricators while having sex, wear cotton clothes & take care of your hygiene.
Wash the affected area with warm water twice daily. Pat it dry apply ointment bacitracin, take acetaminophin, one sos when pain. However, its better to get clinically examined in the ER.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
