What Are Pregnancy Symptoms And Negative Result In HPT Indicative Of?

My cycle is always 27 days. I was 5 days late and had a very short light flow for a little over 2 days then a little bit of brown and now nothing for 2 days. I have some symptoms of pregnancy such as headaches and dizziness frequent urination and my belly is hard when I lay flat. Test said negative on the 5th day being late. But I also take anywhere from 15 to 30mg of adderall a day. Just wondering could I have gotten a false negative result, could I actually be pregnant? Also had intercourse on my ovulation and high fertility days.

Pregnancy tests would potentially be influenced by hormonal medications. Adderall is not known to have these effects.

Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone, this can normally be detected by day 11 to 14 after conception.
False negatives occur when the test is done too early.

If you wish to ensure that it is accurate, you can wait a few days and repeat it.

The other causes of delayed period are: emotional stress or illness, physical illness , abnormal levels of thyroid hormone, high prolactin hormone levels, polycystic ovarian syndrome
