What Are Pus Filled, Hard, Red Bumps On Legs Suggestive Of?
MY BOTH LEGSSUFFRING FROM HARD AND RED BUMPS (NOT PAINFUL OR HOT) SIZE OF EACH BUMP IS AROUND A INCH AREA. TOTAL BUMPS ARE 6 TO 8 NOS. THIS IS SINCE LAST FOUR MONTHS HAVE TAKEN SEVERAL ANTIBIOTICS . TWO OR THREE BUMPS RELEASED SMALL QUANTITY PUS AND NOW TURNED IN PURPAL COLOURS WITH PLAIN SURFACE WITH LESS HARDNESS. SIR WHAT IS THE REASON FOR IT.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pus filled, hard, red bumps on legs which could be due to clogging of sebaceous glands with dead bacteria and sebum as excessive glands are there. It seems to be due to infection of hair follicles leading to folliculitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep the area clean and maintain proper hygiene and dryness. Wash properly with cold water and apply topical antibacterial cream bacitracin. Take oral antibiotics as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You can go for peeling as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
