What Are Recurring Crusty Bumps On The Head Of An Infant Suggestive Of?
My 1year old son has a red sore on top of his head , noticed the other day thinking that it was a bug bite cause it was swollen, later had yellow crust on it. I gave him a bath and it was starting to go away. The next day it was swollen again and there was another bump, now it s the 3rd day and there s a 3rd bump and crusty, the first seems a little better but it s still there and seems to be spreading. What can it be?

It's hard to say without seeing it, but one possibility that often happens with toddlers is impetigo, which can look like it has honey crusting on the lesions. The treatment is an antibiotic ointment, and if that doesn't clear it, he may need oral antibiotics.
