General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your friend seem to be related to a viral infection. I recommend drinking liquids, eating a fiber-rich diet and rest. I also suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Acetominophen 400 mg three times a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
