Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A pore just inside my nose occasionally bleeds. Last time was 3 years ago. Pressure makes it bleed more. When it is not bleeding it just looks like prominent pore. When it starts bleeding it can take hours for it to stop. Does not seem to want to clot.
If you also experience bleeding gums and bruise easily, then it is advisable that you do some blood tests to make sure you don't have a bleeding disorder. If you only have nosebleeds then I suggest you visit an ENT surgeon who will assess inside of the nose to look for any abnormal blood vessels and if possible close the vessel to prevent further bleeding. You should also check your blood pressure as hypertension can also cause nose bleeds.
Get well soon.
