Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Are Recurring Pain In Chest And Left Shoulder Blade Suggestive Of?
I was woke up this morning with a radiating ache in my right chest behind the right breast. Nothing too strong just off and on. It made me anxious so I took a Lorazapam. It seemed to go away when I came to work and took an antacid. Now its starting to come back behind my left shoulder blade. Again, very mild but noticeable.
The symptoms seem to be related to a muscle strain. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using warm compresses for local application at the area of the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
