What Are Side Effects Of Taking Primolut To Delay Periods?
hello - i will be taking primolut to delay my periods and this would be the first time I use this medicine. I am a little concerned about the side effects of this pill and was hoping to get some advise on precautionary measures that I can take to handle the possible side effects like nausea and bloating. thanks!
Hello there, Thank you for your question. I would have liked to know for how long you are planning to take primolut. Primolut is a very commonly used drug to delay periods and as such has very less side effects. If you take it for a week to 10 days you may experience some breast tenderness or mild headaches. But these are not dangerous and as such there is not much you can do to avoid them. Try to use less salt in food during the time you take this medicine as the reason for bloating and breast tenderness to some extent is salt retention caused by Primolut. Other than that eat a healthy diet and stay away from junk and processed foods. Drink lots of water. Do not worry as it is quite safe generally. Hope this helps. Take care.
