General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have varicose veins with probable thromboembolism. giving you the symptoms. This needs to be confirmed by USG testing of the veins followed by a consultation of a vascular surgeon earliest. Avoid massage or foment action. Take over the counter anti-inflammatory pills like Ibuprofen. Take rest and avoid movements of leg till you get expert advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
