General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Most often, prostate cancer spreads to the bones or lymph nodes. It is also common for it to spread to the organs namely liver or lungs.

Since the spots have been detected on the spine by CT scan, it is essential to know what it could be due to and rule out metastasis from the primary cancer of prostate gland.

The clinician would be able to tell this following MRI scan, which has been advised.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
