What Are The Advantages Of Taking Actalin In Place Of Levothyroxine?
I am on levothyroxine now and have been for about 6 years. I have a relative who was also, but stopped the levothyroxine and went on Actalin. She feels much better and has actually lost about 60 pounds. I realize Actalin is not a weight loss supplement, but want advice about using it in place of levothyroxine.
Hi thanks for your query.first let me clarify you that actalin is not a substitute for levothyroxine .Actalin is a very good product with natural indigenous product.sinceyou are on lv for 6years its highly recommended that you don't stop this drug....you should do it only under supervision of your treating doctor as abrupt cessation can cause abrupt fluctuations in harmones leading to gross thyroid dysfunction.keep monitoring your T3,T4,TSH levels and followup your doctor.thank you.
