What Are The Adverse Effects Of Unwanted MTP Kit On Future Pregnancy?

Hi, doctor I am 18 year old ,52 kg weight ,and passed my period 1 days back and want to use unwanted mtp kit of mankind,please tell me is that any side effect.and i had sex with my husband and now my result is coming positive so I want to take mtp kit for abortion please tell what is the side effect of that and how I have to take tablet from the kit.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
* Actually MTP kit is used for aborting 49-63 days of pregnancy.So in case, you want to use it you have to wait till then.
MTP kit is meant for medical abortion,acts well when taken according to instructions.Still it is advisable to get a medical advice by a gynecologist before you start with it.
* The kit has two type of pills. -
- Start with Mifepristone tablet 200 mg
- Follow it by Tab MIsoprostol 8oomg after 24 hours later.
This follows spontaneous abortion most of the times. The complications are-
- profuse bleeding/ incomplete abortion/ infection.
* To be under doctor's care is also safe in case of untoward bleeding/ incomplete abortion.
- A post abortal check up to confirm complete abortion & medications needed to avoid infection/inflammation is essential.
_ Excluding all these complications there will not be any problem in future pregnancy.

Following are the side effects of unwanted kit,
Nausea
Head ache
Fatigue
Lower abdominal pain
Vaginal bleeding
This is how you take unwanted kit,
Mifepristone one tablet(200 mg) first and then four tablets(800 mg) of misoprostol after one day's gap.
