Subutex release contains buprenorphine which belongs to the class of medication known as opioid medication that is used to treat opioid addiction as a part treatment protocol that includes counseling and
behavioral therapy. Side effects of subutex are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsines, headache,
drug withdrawal syndrome, fatigue, tachycardia, diarrhea, backache, toothache, anxiety, agitation, difficulty in micturition, breathing difficulties, nervousness, sore throat, depression, insomnia, loss of libido, paranoid reaction, hallucinations etc. For avoiding the withdrawal syndrome, this medication should be stopped by tapering doses gradually.
