What Are The Alternatives & Side Effects Of Taking Minocycline?

What can a person take to counter act minocycline. I took it for several months and just started having a couple small like hives on my tongue and some burning in my mouth. I have stopped them and at this time cannot contact the doctor that gave them to me.
