What Are The Alternatives To Oxytrol To Control Frequent Urge To Urinate?
The patch works well at night and when I am sitting down. When I get up the urgency increases and at times it is very hard to get to the bathroom in time to urinate. I have tried other brands but dry mouth was too prevelent and I do not have dry mouth with Oxytrol. The frequency is a definite drawback. Any suggestions? I also think that I heard that ther is a pill that is available. Would help my symptoms?
From the available description it appears that you are suffering from over active bladder. Yes other drugs are available for this condition but all others are prescription drug. You need a prescription slip from your doctor to buy them. Other available drugs are tolterodine, solifanacin, derifenacin, torviaz, myrbetriq.
In my view while taking oxytrol take the non pharmacological measures like kegel exercise, vaginal weight training and biofeedback. These exercises will help you in long run without causing any side effect to you.
'Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help". Thanks
