Your history and comments of your doctor about problems in development of your baby suggest that you might be having one of the two issues. 1) Pre-eclampcia. 2) Antiphyosphilipid antibody synderome. Loprin is brand name of a drug called Aspirin , this is used to prevent blood from clotting, this is used in problems in which there is a change of blood clotting in the vessels which can lead to grim consequences by blocking a vital blood vessel.This prevents platelet aggregation in the blood. Loprin is used as a protective medicine in both the above mentioned conditions. 1)Pre-Eclampcia: Pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) in general and preeclampsia in particular are major causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity. aspirin in doses of 60-150 md/day during the second and third trimester reduces the risk of PIH and improves maternal and neonatal outcomes. 2)Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome: some experts recommend that pregnant women with a condition called antiphospholipid syndrome take a low dose of aspirin. This prevents blood clots in the vessels. I would suggest you to take your medication regularly and go for regular follow up visits to your doctor as your pregnancy is a high risk one so it needs many times more care compared to ordinary pregnancy so stay careful everything hopefully will stay fine.
