What Are The Cause And Treatment For Vomit And Poop ?
Hi my niece started vomiting this evening after dinner and has had the poops. Her vomit was very dark in color and now her poop is dark and smells of rotten fish. The poop has me concerned because of its horrid odor. We haven t bn anywhere in the past week for her to pick up a virus. Do you think the dark color of her vomit and the horrid smelling poop is cause for a er visit

If her vomit has a dark brown color ( not darker than usually) and she is feeling vary weak and looks pale I suggest to see a doctor as soon as possibly.
If it is gastroenteritis she might have fever and her vomits and diarrhea can continue up to 3-4 days.
If she had vomit and diarrhea only once and despite this she is feeling OK, you don't need to worry.It might have been something she eat.
If her vomits and diarrhea keep going on than I suggest to see a doctor to find out the right cause.
Give her plenty of water and rest.
