Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi
After going through your query, numbness could be because of neurological causes like diabetis, alcoholism, vitamin B12 deficiency, lack of thyroid hormone, nerve compression or decrease in blood supply to a body part as in deev vein thrombosis, artery disease(plaque formation).
Having said that my advice would be get yourself investigated and discuss with your doctoa or with us.
Meanwhile start taking vitamin B12 along with vitamin D.
Take care and wish you good health
