Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I'm 32 and occasionally it will feel like my heart itches. Another answer to a similar question here just came back with another question asking whether the itch was on the heart or on the chest, and that wasn't helpful. This itch really does feel like it's internal, "on the heart," and unreachable. Would it be related to the digestive system, like a "heartburn," or does it suggest something else? I'm slightly concerned but also curious. Thank you.
Most probably this is gastritis and reflux. Also you can get one ECG done during itching. So avoid fatty, oily and high calorie diet. Have some walk after having food instead of taking rest. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Lots of green leafy vegetables, fruits, fish once or twice a week, avoid meat. Avoid smoking and alcohol if any. You can get prescribed tab Pantoprazole.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sagar Makode
