Researching if Papilledema may be what I have. I was recently diagnosed Hydrocephalus and then after 80day secondary MRI showed NO CHANGES the surgical team has referred me to an Optical specialist. Brian 45 yr old healthly Male who blacked out 90 days ago
Hello It seems from the history that you are having hydrocephalus and you are referred for ophthalmologist opinion. Hydrocephalus will cause raise in intra cranial pressure and this can lead to papilledema. Hence this requires examination by ophthalmologist by performing ophthalmoscopy.
