What Are The Chances Of STD Transmission Through Non Penetrative Sex?
Dear doctor, I went to a strip club and made the mistake of taking a VIP service. Though I am paranoid, I let the lady touch herself (during the dance) and touch my penis when she started stroking me. Am I in trouble from the point of HIV? What about other STIs? The lady said she is more paranoid than I am and that she got tested a week back and was negative. Considering that she may be lying, am I still in trouble for this handjob? Thanks! PS: I have had episodes of hypochondrea in the past and have terrible health anxiety
Most of the sexually transmitted diseases spread through oral, anal, vaginal sex. STDs like syphillis, herpes and HPV can spread through genital touching. Since she did touch your penis I would suggest you get yourself checked for these three, if you are anxious about it.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manreet Benipal, General & Family Physician
