What Are The Chances Of Accuracy In Urine Test Done After An Week Of Unprotected Sex?

I'm 20 and a week ago from last friday I had unprotected sex! My period is extremely irregular and Im on no birth control! I took a pregnancy test knowing it wouldnt be correct a few days after having unprotected sex, but then I decided maybe if I go to the doctors it would be accurate! So I went last Friday and got a urine test and both tests said negative? How accurate could the test be if both were only taken after a week of the unprotected sex? Plus I am not spotting and my stomach hasn't been feeling great! I also had a uti! Please help

You should wait up to next menstrual period .If you misses your next period then urine pregnancy test should be done.
Urine pregnancy test depend upon hCG hormone in urine which is excreted only after fertilization of ovum.Fertilization process take some time.
Generally,Urine pregnancy test is done after missed period for confirmation of pregnancy,but Ultrasound of pelvis is the investigation of choice for confirmation of pregnancy.It can detect G-sac earliest.
