What Are The Chances Of Acquiring STD Through Protected Vaginal Sex?

Hello, My question is about STDs. I had an encounter with an escort last weekend. We had unprotected oral sex an protected vaginal sex. Of course, I am worried about STDs. I am planning to get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhoea after 2 weeks and get tested another time after 5-6 weeks for syphilis. Does that sound reasonable? How high is the risk for getting any of the STDs mentioned above through such an encounter. What about the risk for Herpes and HPV? Thanks!

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Sexual intercourse has highest incidence of spreading STD as compare to oral sex...

But if you have oral ulceration or erosion than yes chance of STD spread can be there .....through oral sex...

So yes better to rule out common STD though serological testing ...

If you have any enlarged lymph nodes or prolonged fever and pus discharge in uribe than consult doc....

Hepatitis b and HIV also should be ruled out although chance less ....

Advise : consult physician
