What Are The Chances Of Contracting HIV Through Unsterilized Objects?

Went to the doctor for a procedure. They had to remove my earrings. When the nurses tried to put it back on me for afterwards, it fell on a chair. She secured it on my ears soon after but without washing or sterilizing it. Chance that the earring could have gotten contaminated by dry blood from the chair? What is my risk of contacting HIV or an infection?
