Hi,
The chances of having a healthy baby while on treatment for PCOS can vary depending on the individual and the therapy used. Medicines for PCOS, such as metformin and clomiphene, can improve ovulation and increase the likelihood of pregnancy.
However, women with PCOS are at an increased risk for certain complications during pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes and high blood pressure. It's essential to work closely with a healthcare provider to manage potential risks and increase the chances of having a healthy baby.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
