Hi.. I m 32 yrs old. I have been under infertility treatment for 4 yrs. I have done all tests and the reports seem to be normal. I have Pcos. I have conceived 4 Times, but the foetus heartbeat stops after 7 weeks. I have been taking lomoh40 injection along with aspirin, metformin, folic acid and progesterone. Still it doesn t work. What could be the next step if I get pregnant again. Is there any chance of having a healthy baby in the future. thanks in advance.

Hi,

The chances of having a healthy baby while on treatment for PCOS can vary depending on the individual and the therapy used. Medicines for PCOS, such as metformin and clomiphene, can improve ovulation and increase the likelihood of pregnancy.

However, women with PCOS are at an increased risk for certain complications during pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes and high blood pressure. It's essential to work closely with a healthcare provider to manage potential risks and increase the chances of having a healthy baby.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
