What Are The Chances Of Heart Attack In A Person Having Stents In Coronary Arteries?

My name is Cheryl Thrasher I m 55-years old back in Dec.2012 I had A major heart attack they placed two stents in my right coronary artery then two more stents in my right coronary artery altogether 4-stents and in November 19th,2014 two stents in my left coronary artery if I continue to not take my heart medications such as my blood thinners and atorvastatin and high blood pressure which I have not been doing ever since 2012 how easy is for me to have another heart attack?

Hi,

Since you are a coronary artery disease patient with stents in situ ,its very important for you to have medicines for high b.p,
blood thinners like aspirin and clopidogrel,
and atorvastatin in the required dosage.

Patients with coronary stents have a high chance of having blood clots which ll eventually lead to
pulmonary embolism,
stroke,
deep vein thrombosis,
re-infarction etc etc.

I would also advise you to consult with your cardiologist for a proper clinical examination along with an
ecg,
echocardiography and
an angiography.
