What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Malfunctioning Of Condom?
Hello Doctor, It was too dark while I was having sex with my fiancee, When I tried to put condom on, It was on the wrong side for a while say, I tried for 30 seconds to put it on, Then i turned it, Put it on properly and had sex. Now her periods are delayed by 9 days, Is it possible that she is pregnant? Any possibility that some sperm may be there before I ejaculated & touched on condom while i was putting it wrong? Can we go for Pregnancy test kit? & when can we do it? Please help.
Pre ejaculate contains sperm and there is a chance of condom to have sperms on it while using it again. I would advise you to get the pregnancy ruled out by getting pregnancy test done with kits which are easily available over the counter, after 1 week of missing periods.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
