General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

To check for pregnancy, a urine pregnancy test can turn positive 2 weeks after ovulation/conception. That would correlate with the 1st day of the missed period. It is most accurate 1 week after that. A serum pregnancy test can show pregnancy a bit sooner than that but is not routinely done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
