Hello dear I understand your concern There is always chance of the pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse. I advise you to go for urine pregnancy test when your period is delayed by 8-10 days from the expected period date. But you can also go for blood HCG test just after 10 days of the period to confirm the pregnancy as it is accurate test. In absence of pregnancy, delayed period is most common by the hormonal imbalance in you case. For that period can be regularize by using birth control pill or progesterone pill for 3-4 months.
