What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Post Intercourse Despite Being On Birth Control Pills?

so me and my "guy friend" had sex. I have quit birth control for like 2 months, but I still had pills left over. we had sex with a condom at first, and then in the middle of it he took it off, because it was falling off. I took a birth control pill right after he left and the next day to make sure. it has been three weeks and I have been feeling weird, like I got sick the other day(nausea, but didn't throw up, and I felt fine! like it isn't a stomach bug) I have weird feelings in my tummy, but I don't know what it is. I have headaches every other day or sometimes every day. I am tired most of the time. I am also very emotional, like I cry to a lot of things, and I normally don't cry. I have to wait until my next period to find out if I am, and that is in like 2 more weeks, because like 5 days after we had sex, I had my period. I researched the early stage symptoms of pregnancy, and I have some of the symptoms....help!

Hi,
I understand your concern.
You had unprotected sex after 2 months of quitting contraceptive pills.
You have taken remaining pills from old stock-for 2 doses. You had bleeding after 5 days of the intercourse. This was followed by symptoms of an early pregnancy. In such condition I would like to clear few things-
- Taking 2 single pills from monthly cyclical contraceptive pack- will not prevent pregnancy.For this purpose either high dose of routine pill/ emergency contraceptive pill needs to be taken.
- The bleeding 5 days after sex can not be implantation bleeding( it's being too early for it).
_ It can be labelled as withdrawal bleeding after the two pills taken after sex.In such a condition,
- The pregnancy like symptoms can be - psychological out of fear,
- Hormonal imbalance created by hafazard hormone intake,
-Bleeding in spite of pregnancy which is growing to give you the symptoms.
* to sort out the condition, get home /blood pregnancy test done for pregnancy
- The test +ve needs MTP,
_ -ve test needs patient waiting for menses/ consulting Gynecologist for hormonal imbalance.
