Hi,

Clomid is a drug that promotes follicular maturity and ovulation (which is essential for conception.Third must for conception is normal semen counts with normal sexual activity.I am sure this has been confirmed before prescribing Clomid. Considering normal menses you have you should conceive in 3-6 months maximum. You can take the medicine till 6 months with check ups by your gynecologist for absence of side effects of the drug which are easily avoidable. For early conception I would suggest LH surge test to ascertain ovulation time and then have sex accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
