What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Where Bilateral Poly-cystic Ovaries Are Found During Follicular Sonography?
Planning to conceive Done follicular sonography.my menstruation cycle is not proper. Bilateral polycystic ovaries are seen.13th day of cycle right ovary 12mm and left ovary 16mm and 12.5mm. Im taking injection from 8th day of cycle from 29th November 2013. On 5th December injection for ovulation is taken and left ovary collapsed with endometrial 10mm on 18th day of cycle and no change in right ovary .fluid in POD is nil . And I have severe stomach pain and back pain . If there is any chance for getting pregnant?
Hi. With bilateral polycystic ovaries, periods can be irregular. You must be taking gonadotrophins injections for increasing the size of follicle, but I don't think pregnancy would have occurred, This is because egg has not released from the follicle as there is no evidence of fluid in POD and from your complaints it seems that follicle has overshooted in size. So, I will advise you to stop taking any further injections and don't take a trial in this cycle.Rather be watchful for ovarian hyperstimulation and take treatment from your gynecologist for this.Thanks. In next cycle also first get ovulation study done before taking any injection.
