What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy With High AMH Level?

Hello doctor, I am 26 yrs & my husband is 30 yrs. We are ttc from 7-8 months. My height is 5 4 & weight is 62 kg. I was detected with pcos, few months before we decided to try for a baby. We tried naturally for 2 months & then we consultanted to gynac. She prescribed both of us vitamins named fertisure f for me & fertisure m for my husband for 2 months. I had taken that for 45 days & stopped because i was not getting my periods. After 15 days i got my periods. My cycle lenth is 30-35 days. 2 weeks before i had a blood test. Which shows very high amh levels (98 pmol/l), now my doctor advised that i should loose the weight & wait for 3 months. I am really confused, what should i do, can i get pregnant naturally with high AMH level? Thanks in advance Swati

Dear swathi.
,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
Pcos typically causes delayed cycles. The problem in PCOS is absent or decreased ovulation.

Weight gain and abnormal hormones can cause PCOS. The AMH reflects ovarian reserve. If low that means your ovaries are having less eggs. As here it's consistent with your diagnosis of PCOS you can follow the weight loss regime and try for pregnancy after 3_4 months.
