What Are The Chances Of Recovery With 20% Functioning Of Heart?
My Brother did steriod few years ago. He almost died. he damaged is heart bad. Now he hasn't been feeling god. when to is doctor they found only 20 percent of is heart is working. it's came back. he on med. and wearing a machine to monitor is heart. he 37yrs old. what r the chance of him to beat this

20% of functioning heart is quite low . But there are chances of some recovery as steroid induced CArdiomyopathy is partially reversible .
But he needs to be very much complaint with the medicines and once he is quite ok he should start doing walking kind of exercise slowly .
If you could tell me what medications he is on I can review those and give further advise .
