What Are The Chances Of Survival For Stage 4 Breast Cancer Patient?

My Mama was just diagnosed with stage 4 IBC which has spread to lymph nodes and back and hip bones. She is a 67 year old diabetic with high blood pressure and cholesterol. She is currently undergoing chemo and has had one treatment. What are her chances of survival?

Hello dear. It is unfortunate that she has an advanced form of disease. The survival will also depend on her receptor status of the tumor( ER, PR, HER 2). Roughly survival will vary from 3 to 5 years, sometimes more depending upon how the disease responds to the chemotherapy. Hope you understand. Take care
