What risk does a diabetic lancet carry if you were to get pricked by it? It was also a stray diabetic lancet found outside. What should be done? The child involved says that it did not stick him or he did not feel any sticks when he fell off his bike near where the lancet was, and he said he did not touch it. I examined him to see if there were any release of blood from him in the case that it did prick him, but i did not find any, but still worry because of my fear about this such of thing happening.
