What Are The Consequences Of Swollen Ear Membrane?

52 yr.old female has a swollen right ear membrane on the outer ear. Red, feels like there s puss in it, and it has day by day gotten bigger. I don t feel any hearing loss and it doesn t itch inner ear. Just the outside front and back of the ear is tender. No change to the lobe itself. What could it be?

Hello

It looks like you are having a condition called otitis externa. which means inflammation of the outter ear. The most common cause is an infection.Please meet an ent doctor, he will examine you and guide you further.
