What Are The Different STDs And Tests To Detect Them?

Oral Sex
Me and my girlfriend have been together for a while now so today we both gave and received oral sex we both lost our virginity to each other and we have not done anything sexual with anybody else except kiss other people we were wondering what STDs we are at risk for and should we get tested. Also there was no cracks or cuts anywhere on either of our genitals or mouths.

Hi there.
I read your query with interest.
If all that you say is true, there appears a very slim chance of either of you developing any STD given you have been monogamous except for kissing you mentioned.
The latter bit may transmit STD linked organisms eg. Herpes virus, Syphilis etc but extremely unlikely unless you have been with promiscuous individuals with known STD's at the time & had open or cut mucous membranes etc during those episodes of kissing et al.
So assuming you are both being honest with each other & it does appear to be the case in your query & are practicing 'monogamy', this is the best case scenario as far as prevention of STD's goes. I don't think you need to speculate or worry any further.
I do not think you need get tested for any STDs'.
Good Luck & do practice safe sex always.
