What Are The Different Types Of Gall Bladder Problems And How Can They Be Treated?
I have gallbladder problems, I ve had a hida scan and ultra sound. I m looking for answers. My doctor has had her nurse contact me to let me know I have something abnormal going on on mygallbladder, and when Can I expect to schedule surgery. I m needing to know what kind of surgery I need, what other options do I have. Will you high light for me a little bit on the gallbladder problems. and if here are possible options other than surgery. and or diet or something. What are the risks of removing it. How will my life change/
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that gallbladder surgery is a minimal surgery with a low rate of complications.
Anyway, besides open surgery (which is more invasive) another option would be laparoscopy, which is performed through some holes made on the abdominal wall.
There is a high rate of success and low rate of complications and pain. This is a mini-invasive surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
