Apo hydro 25mg belongs to thiazide group of diuretics. It is used to relieve edema in congestive
heart failure, certain kidney and liver problems. It should be taken during morning after having breakfast.
Mylan-fenofibrate belongs to the class of fibrates. It is used to reduce the levels of blood cholesterol. It improves the fibre content in the body which lowers the blood cholesterol.It should be taken after meals and before sleep.
Ezetrol 10mg is used to lower the blood cholesterol. It affects the LDL levels mainly and improves HDL. Should be taken with or after food at any time in the day. It should not be taken along with statins-like
atorvastatin or
rosuvastatin. Should not be taken in pregnancy along with statins.
Apo atenol-is a
beta blocker which is used in controlling mild to moderate
hypertension. It is contraindicated in
bronchial asthma patients. It is used in glaucoma and in some conditions of heart failure. Can be taken in the morning after breakfast. Side effect is insomnia-reduced sleep.
Apo rosuvastatin- belongs to the statin family which reduces the cholesterol. It inhibits the synthesis of cholesterol. Should be taken after food in the night.
Acetylsalicylic acid- also called as aspirin- it belongs to the salicylate group. It is used in reducing fever and pain. It is abused as the OCT drug. It is contraindicated in patients having bronchial asthma and history of gastritis and bleeding disorders. It helps in normal platelet aggregation. Used as an adjuvant drug in cardiac patients in the form of ecosprin. It should be taken in the afternoon after food.
