Hello
As you stated that during intercourse your condom torn and that was an UNPROTECTED SEXUAL intercourse.
As far as concerned , it was with a sex worker and prone to HIV infection , but not always.
Approximately 50-70 % of infected individuals experience an acute syndrome following primary infection ( in your case after sexual contract with sex worker).
The acute syndrome follows infection by 3 -6 weeks .
These are symptoms :fever, pharyngitis , lymphadenopathy, headache/retro-orbital pain ( behind eyes), lethargy/malaise,arthralgias/myalgias, anorexia/weight loss. nausea/vomiting/diarrhea.
Others are erythematous maculopapular rashes , mucocutaneous ulceration ( in mouth and on tongue ).
So if you not these symptoms be careful.
Antibodies to HIV begin to appear within 2 weeks of initial infection ( as in your case one week passed , so wait for another one week for test for confirmation for HIV infection.
Get in rapid nucleic acid amplification (p 24 pcr rna ) as soon window period pass.
Hope this will help you.
