Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your situation and problem. Yes, your symptoms can be due to SARS infection. SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) is caused by virus and it is infectious disease. It is common in travellers who visit Bangkok. It is mainly affecting upper respiratory tract and hence common symptoms are cough, sore throat, running nose, fever etc. Sometimes diarrhoea, abdominal pain, muscle weakness, joint pains etc are also seen. So better to consult doctor and start treatment for suspected SARS infection. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
