What Are The Early Signs Of Pregnancy?
So I have been on the depo shot for a year now. I didnt have my period after that at all except every three months. My boyfriend and me had unprotected sex and soon after that i started to have a clear/ pinkish discharge that i have never had before. I have had a off and on light period or discharge since then and its been about 5-6 weeks. I took a pregnancy test and it took a while but it showed a negitive. I have a second test that im going to take right away in the morning. I just wanted to know if its possible for me to be pregnant? and if not whats going on with my body?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular spotting or pink discharge is a common side effect of depo provera injection, which is a progesterone contraceptive.
The chances of getting pregnant while you are on depo provera injection is very rare.
Still, to be sure, I would suggest you to repeat your urine pregnancy test.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined and investigated for pink discharge and to rule out any local lesions in cervix or vagina or any infection.
If the urine pregnancy test is negative and your gynecological examination is normal, then I would advise you to not to worry as this is just a side effect of the drug.
