Hello there, thanks for posting your query. Fibroids are a very common problem in women and fibroids which are small in size and without symptoms are not worrisome at all. A fundal evolving fibroid must be small in size and unless it projects into the uterine cavity causing heavy bleeding during periods, nothing needs to be done. Fibroids projecting outside uterus also doesn t cause any problem unless it is very big in size and is located in the pelvic cavity and puts pressure on bladder or rectum causing urination and defection difficulties. So I suggest you to relax as nothing needs to be done about it unless its troubling your mother. And fibroids usually shrink in size but wont vanish following menopause but it cannot be cured once it is there and as long as a woman menstruates. Hope this helped. Take care.
